Our House is FOR SALE!

It's true! Our sweet mountain retreat is up for grabs! This was a hard decision...because we LOVE the stillness, the wildlife, the proximity to Boulder (foodie heaven), and the perfect perfectness. BUT, it's time for a new adventure.

We'll be calling the open road "home" indefinitely...while we teach about essential oils around the country and connect with our TRIBE. As we travel, we'll be keeping our eyes open for somewhere we'd like to put down roots again. That might be back in Colorado...or on a beach somewhere. We're embracing the beautiful unknown!

All of the details (and more photos) are at www.360skytrail.com...but here are a few to start. I think this is actually the first "full tour" we've done of the house since we moved in 2 1/2 years ago!

Let me know what you think!

Repurposed Rainbow

Remember way back in 2013 when I decided that I needed more color in my backyard?! I loved that sweet little house (Emma was born there)! Well...after that, the rainbow fence followed us to the farm and welcomed our guests at the gate.

After the farm, it moved up to the mountains and sat next to our hot tub for 2 years...offering a rainbow of happiness while we soaked our cares away.

But NOW...it's found a new home!

It's becoming fast friends with the barnwood we found at the Boulder dump...

...and it's being shaped and repurposed into it's new life.

Almost done!

Voila! A brand new, colorful wall in our office! This took Matt about an hour or so to complete...I'm in awe of his mad skills. And yes, I totally rainbowfied my books just for this photo. Spell check does not think rainbowfied is a word. It's wrong. :)

And now...if you're a part of our TRIBE, you'll see this pretty wall on our video calls! Just one more way to add some HAPPY to our life!

Creating a Kitchen

Here are a few kitchen remodel process photos that I found… Throwing it back this sunny Thursday afternoon!

Every good handyman needs a few sassy women backing him up!

Power lifter.

Look at these cute little boxes just waiting to be part of the bigger story of our life!

Thinking inside the box.

Lots of fun to look back at this process...so different now!

We got our entire appliance package (fridge, range, and dishwasher) for about $600. The fridge and dishwasher were salvaged/scratch & dent, and the range was on deep discount). We are SO thankful for these amazing pieces of our kitchen! Love them.

Our sink was another salvage piece...it's a 10" deep Blanco stainless steel beauty. For THIRTY dollars!! I had my heart set on a farmhouse sink, but when I saw this one, I knew I could make the sacrifice :)

My sweetie making us a home.

And I know you have already seen this photo…but it's for comparison. Before and after! I need to take a wide-angle and compare them.

We have since added more open shelving above the dishwasher. And curtains. And food.

Feel free to ask any questions you like about the remodel… I probably won't get around to doing a step-by-step through the process anymore than I already have. What a crazy journey it's been!
